A renowned restaurant in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and creative Indian Pastry Chef to join our team We are looking for a passionate individual who has a strong understanding of traditional Indian desserts and is able to put a modern twist on them The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of creating delicious and visually appealing desserts Responsibilities Create unique and innovative dessert recipes that incorporate traditional Indian flavors Ensure all desserts are prepared and presented according to the restaurants standards Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in proper techniques and recipes Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen Collaborate with the restaurants head chef to ensure a cohesive menu Requirements Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef preferably in an Indian cuisine setting Strong knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and flavors Ability to create visually appealing desserts with attention to detail Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box Proficiency in English is required knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus Salary $1100 per week negotiable based on experience Location Los Angeles USA #J-18808-Ljbffr BrightHire
